Take your first breath underwater and discover the world-famous dive sites of Nusa Penida with our SSI Basic Diver Program. Designed for complete beginners, this 1.5 days, 3 dives experience lets you safely explore Bali's spectacular underwater world, no previous scuba diving experience or certification required.
Your adventure begins the day before in the afternoon with a comprehensive safety briefing and an introductory scuba skills session in a swimming pool, where your professional SSI Instructor will teach you the fundamentals of scuba diving and help you build confidence underwater.
On the following day, you'll embark on three guided boat dives at carefully selected dive sites around Nusa Penida, including the legendary Manta Point (sea conditions permitting). 1 Day • 2 Dives • No Certification Required
Take your first breath underwater and discover the spectacular dive sites of Bali’s east coast with our SSI Basic Diver Program. Designed for complete beginners, this 1-day, 2-dive experience allows you to safely explore Bali’s incredible underwater world with no previous scuba diving experience or certification required.
Your adventure begins in the morning when we travel to Tulamben or Amed, with the destination selected based on the weather and sea conditions to ensure the best possible diving experience. Once we arrive at the dive site, your professional SSI Instructor will conduct a comprehensive safety briefing and introduce you to the basic scuba diving skills in confined, shallow water. This gives you time to become familiar with the equipment, practice essential skills, and build confidence in the water at your own pace.
Once you feel comfortable and your instructor is confident that you are ready, we will continue with your first guided dive. You’ll then complete a second dive at a carefully selected dive site, allowing you to enjoy Bali’s beautiful underwater world while gaining more confidence and experience.
In Tulamben, you may have the opportunity to explore the famous USAT Liberty Shipwreck, one of Bali’s most iconic dive sites. In Amed, enjoy beautiful coral gardens, diverse marine life, and calm tropical waters that are ideal for beginner divers.
